College Information

Students must put their OWN email addresses on any applications - not their school email, nor their parents/carers.

Herefordshire College, in particular, will only reply to the student's email address, and this includes any invites for interview.   HSFC (6th form) is the only college that comes into school to conduct pre-enrolment interviews. Students will hopefully be offered a 'conditional offer' after their interview which will be in March/April in school.   They should not be concerned if they haven't yet had a reply to an online application. Anyone who has applied will get an interview.

New course starting September 2024 - BSc Sustainable Built Environment

This year will be the first time students at NMITE can start their Sustainable Built Environment degree, ideal for anyone looking to enter a career in sustainable construction or to get ahead in an industry which is growing rapidly to answer the needs of the future. The programme has been designed using the same unique way of learning as our flagship Integrated Engineering degrees, meaning our students will learn in small groups on projects set by our industry partners. They'll build a portfolio of experience which they can take with them when they graduate. They'll also have the option to take an industry placement during their degree, giving them vital first-hand industry experience, so they can graduate as employable as possible. Students can begin their journey to become a built environment professional with a Foundation Year. This programme will develop the essential skills needed to not only thrive on one of our degrees, but also build their confidence going into Higher education.
