Kingstone High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of PE to join our staff team.  We are looking for an innovative and highly effective teacher of physical education committed to raising the achievement, and participation, of all students in PE at all key stages.

Kingstone High School benefits from the largest school site in the county.  We have extensive playing fields, hard court areas and a purpose built sports hall.  The PE department runs a broad and balanced curriculum at both Key Stages 3 and 4 and offers GCSE PE as an option.  The department also runs a very successful extra-curricular programme, competing inter-school in all traditional sports as well as inclusion sports.

This is an exciting professional development opportunity for either an existing Head of Department or someone with the potential to take on their first leadership post. The person we appoint will be an excellent classroom teacher with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, willing to lead the successful delivery of PE across the school and able to inspire and enthuse members of the PE team.   As a middle leader you will have a clear vision for the future direction of the PE Department and have an active commitment to extra-curricular sport.  The ability to offer an additional subject would be welcomed.

To arrange a visit to the school, please contact Mrs Sally Spreckley on 01981 250224 ext 264 or sspreckley@kingstoneacademy.co.uk  Full details of this post and an application form can be downloaded https://www.eteach.com/job/head-of-pe-1073797?lang=en-GB&frmsrh=Y
