Welcome to Kingstone High School

Letter for parents about COVID-19 symptoms

Public Health England has produced a letter for schools to distribute to parents which explains when a person requires a coronavirus test and what the symptoms of coronavirus are. The intention of the letter is to help prevent children being taken out of school unnecessarily and answer some of the questions parents may have around testing.  We have emailed the letter to Parents and Carers and have also put it in the Letters and Information Home section.

We could not provide tours of our school this year, so we  commissioned Shooting Reels productions to create a video about our school.

It is now live on YouTube  paste   into your browser or search for the Kingstone Academy Trust Channel or go to OUR SCHOOL/ Transition to High School September 2021 and there is a direct link along with links to video presentations on our Pastoral Care, Teaching and Learning, and our Values and Ethos.

Do take a look - we hope you enjoy them.

Student Roll of Honour for September

Our students have been working hard and getting to grips with Blended learning - have a look at who has made the Roll of Honour for September.  See  TEACHING & LEARNING  / Student Roll of Honour  The November roll of honour will be posted soon.

Cashless Catering

The new catering payment system is now up and running. Your child will also be given a payment card that they can use instead of the normal biometric thumb print. This has been brought in to support our covid-safe measures. Please ensure your child keeps this card safe as they will cost £5.00 for you to replace.

We would like to limit the handling of money to a minimum, therefore could you pre load Parentpay in advance where possible.

Could you also regularly check the balance on your child’s account as at times students can overspend. A daily limit of £5.00 has been set, but this will be reviewed as we go through the year.

If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to contact us on
