There has been more success for Kingstone High School's Netball teams this week, with our Year 10 & 11 teams both securing victories at The Hereford Academy on Wednesday 2nd February.

At half-time the scores were close for both teams, with Year 11 tied at 9-9 and the Year 10s just ahead with a score of 9-4.  Both teams were really starting to gel in the third quarter and successfully implemented their set game plays, which resulted in some great goals.

For Year 10, both Albi (GA) and Brianna (GS) grew in confidence after scoring a couple, so much so that Brianna was scoring from close to the edge of the circle with success every time, which rightfully resulted in her being awarded ‘Players Player’ of the Match. Emmye was also awarded ‘Players Player’ for her movements around the court as Centre and for the intercepting skills she demonstrated throughout the match. 

Year 11s started to pull ahead in the third quarter of their match and with their continued determination they maintained their lead to the final whistle. They all played very well and were great ambassadors for our school. Some great interceptions were made by Becca (C) and Beth (GK) and some quick decision-making from Daisey (GD) prevented THA scoring and gave us the advantage to attack resulting in scoring goals, thanks to Alice (GA) and Lydia (GS).  Year 11s ‘Players player’ was awarded to Daisey. 

A massive well done to all the girls that played (see teams below), and great final scores to reflect your achievements.
