Year 9 success at Table Tennis Tournament

Year 9 students visit Bishops for Table Tennis Tournament

On Tuesday 1st February, some of our Year 9 students travelled to Bishops School to play in a Table Tennis Tournament.

This was the first time these students had the opportunity to represent the school, and they loved the experience! They were up against an experienced set of table tennis club players, but this did not dampen their spirits or efforts in each game they played.

Special mention to George G who was voted the “Player of the tournament” for Kingstone. George played incredibly well and managed to beat two of their players 12-10 and 11-8.  Leon S managed to beat one opponent 11-9 in the tournament too. The boys were really happy about this as the skill level was very high.

Mrs Wood, PE Teacher said "It was such a lovely experience to take the students having never taught them before – they were so excited to represent the school and really did KHS proud!".

Well done to all the students (see below) who attended from everyone at Kingstone Academy Trust.
