Year 7 & 8 cricket success

The year 7 and 8 cricket team were successful and won the county trophy beating St.Mary’s.

St.Mary’s were bowled out for 125 runs after 24 overs,  however our bowling has room for improvement as we gave them 60 runs through wide balls and no balls!

We managed to beat their total in 14 overs scoring 128-1.  Harry Briggs, Callum Maddy and Harry Rees had fantastic bowling performances. The performance from everyone was outstanding however, the player of the match was Archie Langford who scored 105 runs and took 3 wickets.  Their behaviour was exemplary whilst representing the school, as well as their sportsmanship.
