Results 2023

Staff and students at Kingstone High School are again celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results, with students getting much better results than pre-Covid in English and Maths.

Combined results in these two subjects have well over half of students achieving a strong pass (56%) and 75% achieving a standard pass. This is a testament to the hard work of the students themselves, staff and the support of parents. And allows the students their choice of level 3 qualification for their next steps at college, school sixth form or apprenticeship.

80% of students achieved a standard pass (grade 4 and above) in English and 65% achieved a strong pass (grade 5 and above). In Maths, 77% achieved a standard pass with 65% achieving a strong pass.

Students did very well in French with almost half achieving the top grades, and students gaining top grades in science subjects too.

Over half of the cohort achieved a strong pass or above in Geography.

"I am so proud of our students’ achievements, despite the challenges that they have faced in previous years. I would like to thank the staff, students and parents for all of their hard work and support over the past 5 years. This has ensured that the next step in the students’ education journey can now be taken successfully".  Mr Lee Butler, Headteacher
