Teacher of Maths - Kingstone High School

Required for: September 2018

Are you an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with high expectations and an ability to inspire, enthuse and challenge students to raise standards of achievement at all levels? 

Kingstone High School is seeking a dedicated, inspiring and a highly skilled classroom practitioner to join our Maths Department. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented teacher who is eager for a positive and rewarding Mathematics teaching post. We welcome applications from both NQTs and experienced colleagues who will be willing to contribute to the continuing development of the maths department.

Applicants will be required to teach Mathematics at both KS3 and KS4, across the age and ability range. You will be joining a very supportive teaching team committed to promoting enjoyment and high achievement in mathematics for all of our students.  With consistent year on year improvements, our results make us one of the top schools in Herefordshire.

Teacher of Science - Kingstone High School

Required for: September 2018

Kingstone High School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to teach across the subject and ability range for KS3 and KS4 science. The successful applicant will be hardworking and committed to developing creative and well planned lessons. You should have the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities and be dedicated to raising their attainment. The post is an exciting opportunity for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.  Applications for part-time employment will also be considered for this post.

Kingstone High School is a rural school, with an extensive site and superb facilities, just six miles south of the vibrant cathedral city of Hereford in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

 

The Science department has a strong, successful team with a proven track record of achieving results above the national average. Each member of the Science faculty has their own laboratory equipped with an IWB and access to separate ICT suites. Clerk to the Governors

Required: As soon as possible 

Salary Scale: HC6

The Governing Body of Kingstone Academy Trust is currently seeking a Clerk to the Governor.

The role of the clerk is to provide administrative support and procedural advice to the governing body, working closely with the Chair of Governors and Executive Headteacher, to prepare agendas and associated paperwork, and take the minutes at all governor meetings. 

There are approximately 12 meetings per year and these are normally late afternoon/early evening.  We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and organisational skills who is able to demonstrate confidentiality, discretion and organisation, and able to work on their own initiative.
