Welcome to the caring, supportive and challenging learning environment of Kingstone High School.
We have a purpose built science block equipped with all of the appropriate science equipment, allowing students to explore learning practically during the science lessons. Our purpose built Sports Hall offers a high quality and spacious venue suitable for all sporting needs. It has four Basketball courts, and is also marked out for Badminton, Netball, Tennis and Five a side Football. In our extensive grounds we have the full range of sports facilities and pitches are maintained to FA and cricket league standard throughout the season, and orchards, meadows and gardens. We also have an outdoor classroom and a Specialist building to deliver Construction and Horticulture courses.
The HUB, our Intervention Centre, comprises of a large learning space, adjoining kitchen area, large computer area and several individual meeting rooms, offers a fresh, modern and hi-tech area that is widely used by students and staff. Students use this area for individual or small group mentoring as well as counselling should they require it.
Expressive Arts and I.T.
Our Performing Arts Hall has tiered seating able to seat over two hundred and has staged many high quality school productions. During the day the hall serves as our main drama studio. The Expressive Arts Faculty boasts an extensive range of facilities including Music room, and four practice rooms.
All of our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, linked to high quality and ever evolving learning resources.We have six fully furnished and newly equipped computer suites plus a specialist Language ICT suite, allowing all students to gain regular computer access. ICT is part of our core curriculum.
