Kingstone High School – Here for the Community

Our Plans for the development of our Sports Facilities

At Kingstone we have a large spacious site, in the centre of an area that is not well served by good leisure provision. Our aim is to help develop our site into a set of facilities that can be used by the school’s students during the school day, but also provide top quality facilities to the local community at all other times.

We would also like, in the near future, to open up our library and other facilities for public use. Our vision is that Kingstone High School and Kingstone & Thruxton Primary School who, as Kingstone Academy Trust, share this extensive site become a community hub, not just during the school terms, but also provide top quality facilities to the local community, individuals and groups alike at all other times throughout the whole year.

Kingstone High School has submitted planning permission for floodlit all weather pitches and for a fully equipped gym. It is proposed that these facilities once built, would be available and open to the public whenever the school is not in session.
