Year 7 held a Shakespeare competition in February. The students (of Year 7 or 8) could either perform a monologue, or a duologue from a Shakespeare play.

The judges were astounded by the courage of the youngsters to stand up and perform in front of their peers and then to memorise a piece from the play, speak with conviction and persuade the audience that they were listening to Juliet, Lady Macbeth or Henry V.

We all look forward to watching these students develop throughout their years at Kingstone High School.
